Jamaican ska vocal group.The Deacons were another vocal group who came and went in a flash. They recorded two songs for Top Deck Records, "Hungry Man" and "Man Alone", in May 1965. They were influenced by top ska vocal group The Maytals, and had they lasted longer they might have developed their style to rival that group's popularity.
