Psicorragia was founded in Lima, Peru in 1994 and since then the band has been spreading South American Death Doom Metal. This ritual is a tribute to death and so is reflected in the last album "Madremuerte", leading Death and Doom metal to extremes. Some Black Metal elements, dark choirs and gloomy sounds complete this mortuary act. Reviews of the album appear in Legacy Magazine (GER), Zero Tolerance (UK), among others.
Psicorragia has been the opening band for Mayhem (De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas Latin American tour) and Acheron in its exclusive visit to Peru. Also the band was present in Lima Metal Fest 2016 with great bands like Sadistic Intent and Totten Korps.
