Bob Monkhouse (born 1 June 1928, Beckenham, Kent, England – died 29 December 2003, Eggington, Bedfordshire, England) English comedian, actor, writer and TV host. Active from 1952 until his death. Best known for traditional stand up comedy and hosting game shows: Bob's Full House, The Golden Shot, Family Fortunes and Wipeout, he had a meticulous comedy cataloging hobby which was valuable to his writing and career. Posthumously appeared in prostate cancer advert in 2007, made from several previous TV appearances.
