Members: Виктор Цой, Алексей Рыбин

Rock band from Saint Petersburg, Russia. Was formed in summer 1981 by members of "Палата №6" (Viktor Tsoy (bass)) and "Пилигрим" (Alexey Rybin (guitar) and Oleg Valinskiy (drums)) bands. Soon after the formation Oleg Valinskiy was drafted into the army, so the band became a duo. In early 1982 changed name to Кино.

NOTE: not to be confused with Гарин И Гиперболоиды (2), new band, formed by Alexey Rybin in 2019.
