Soul Sista is a talented young singer/songwriter aged 23. Hailing from South Africa, she draws her influences from the sounds of deep house, hip hop and kwaito.

Starting out as a backing singer and then full member of African pop group Crowded Crew, Soul Sista went on to perform live at Sublime (Johannesburg) alongside international DJs such as Richard Hardcastle, Stuart Patterson, Alex Moran and label nights including Guidance Records.

2002 saw the debut of Soul Sista's live vocal talents at London's Bar Rumba and at Lazy Dog alongside Jay Hannan.
