The Naden Band Free Music

The Naden Band

Military marching and symphonic concert band. Esquimalt, British Columbia, Canada.
Has smaller ensembles include: Dixieland, Brass Quintet, Jazz and Rock.

Established in 1940 at the the Canadian naval base then known as HMCS Naden in Esquimalt.
In 1968 the base changed to CFB Naden (Canadian Forces Base) after unification of the armed forces.
The band was disbanded in December 1994.
The band was re-instated In December 1998 as part of now Maritime Forces Pacific, at now CFB Esquimalt, British Columbia. (MARPAC)

Naden is derive from the Haida language and the Naden river in Haida Qwaii, British Columbia, Canada.
