The Churchmice

Real name: Churchmice / The Church Mice

Members: Armand Schaubroeck, Blaine Schaubroeck, Bruce Schaubroeck, Ozzy Thorne

The Church Mice aka Churchmice were an American proto-punk garage band formed in 1965, based in Rochester, New York. Churchmice was Armand Schaubroeck on vocals and guitar, Blaine Schaubroeck on bass, Bruce Schaubroeck on drums, and Ozzy Thorne on rhythm guitar. They released their sole 45, "College Psychology On Love / We're Not Part Of Society " in 1965.
By 1967, they had officially morphed into Armand Schaubroeck Steals. According to Armand Schaubroeck "there is an unreleased Churchmice recording from 1966 that consisted of two songs: 'You Hate Me, 'Cause I'm So Free' and I don't remember the flip side. We are trying to locate it. So far, no luck."
