Real name: Lars Nicolaysen

Solo punk project for Lars Nicolaysen, that he started early in the 1980´s. Before, at the same time and after that in several other bands.

As Skjit-Lars he performed the vocals live and used his studio tapes as backing. At the same time he had 2 to 3 girls (aka The Ketchup Ladies) pouring ketchup on him during his "Matsangen" (Food song). Among these Ketchup Girls we find persons like; Monica Nilsen, Gøril Vatshaug, Linn Stemland, Marit Sjøvold and Merethe Nilsen.

At one occasion he did a live show with himself on drums & vocals, with Bjørn Jervås and Ørjan Tverbakk.

In the later years (this side off year 2000) he has begun to use Skjit-Lars on other musicaly forms than in his punk acts.
