Vittore Baroni Free Music

Vittore Baroni

Italian cultural activist, mail artist and music critic, who in 1979 founded the first mail art assembling publication/artist's magazine in Italy Arte Postale! and was among the first to write about industrial music and the new experimental frontiers. He recorded under the "multiple name" project Lieutenant Murnau some experiments on his own which appeared on different compilations, then in 1981 he co-founded the experimental label Trax and sub-labels Trux and Area Condizionata. In 1992 he joined the odd experimental band Le Forbici Di Manitù, and in 2004 he co-founded the assembling container/artist's multiples box BAU.
