The "Salzburger Rundfunk- Und Mozarteum-Chor" was founded by Ernst Hinreiner in 1951. The original name was "Salzburger Rundfunk-Chor", but already in 1952 the name was changed. The choir made regular appearances at the Salzburger Festspiele and existed until the end of the 1990s.Please do not confuse this choir with the Der Mozarteumchor Salzburg.
