Biography
Gyáva
Gyáva was formed in 2017, in Csepel, the industrial district of Budapest, Hungary. They played mostly improvisation based space-psychedelic-noise rock in various lineups that over the years included members such as Domokos Vajda from Megtűrtek, Pablo Campos aka Kinzo is Here, and various others, collaborating with Gábor Varsás - better known as Shum - on varios occasions, before disbanding in 2021.
After a short hiatus they reformed in late 2022 as a power trio featuring original members Ádám Kalamár on guitar and vocals and Norbert Tóth on bass, with new drummer Jun Sembommatsu. This incarnation of the band went in a completely different direction with shorter, more more structured songs and a louder, noisier and more agressive sound overall.
