Surgical Steel was a heavy metal band from Phoenix, Arizona, USA, that was formed in 1980.
In the late 80s the band changed its name to Notorious and released one more demo with the line-up of Keeler, Kendall, Kosanovich (on bass) and drummer Dave Ownbey, and the songs "Sherrie", "When You're In Love", "Call Me", "Stay With Me", and "Young & Dangerous".

The band appear in the 1985 film Thunder Alley.
