Real name: Анна Юрьевна Смирнова-Марли

Russian born French singer-songwriter.
Born 30 Oct. 1917 in Saint Petersburg, Russia – died 15 Feb. 2006 in Palmer, Alaska, USA.
She composed the music of the song 'La Complainte Du Partisan', that came to be known as "The Partisan" in English, alongside Bernard (a pseudonym used by E. D'Astier De La Vigerie) who wrote the lyrics.
