Punk band from Christchurch, New Zealand. Formed in March, 1983. Disbanded in January 1984
Evasive Action rose from the ashes of Desperate Measures and Unauthorised. Merging the street-level punk of the Measures with the abrasive energy of Unauthorised, the band landed in post-punk territory.

After the band split, Eugene Butcher moved to London (England), and the rest of the band formed Southern Front.
