Blues singer, born May 6, 1916 in Drew, Mississippi, moved to Chicago to work outside music in 1943.
Harris recorded a session for Columbia in 1946, backed by Muddy Waters and others, unissued until 1971 when two titles appeared on a Testament anthology.
