Ramiro Alcocer

Bolivian accordionist, organist, and composer from Cochabamba, active since the 1960s. He accompanied many folk artists with his accordion, and composed original cumbias. A pioneer of electric organ and synthesizers in Bolivian music, Ramiro Alcocer has a vast catalog of recordings on various labels in many different rhythms, including huayno, caporales, cueca, kullaguada, and cumbia.
