The Margaretha Consort is made up of a permanent core of musicians based on "basso continuo". Founder and driving force of this group is the cellist / gambist Marit Broekroelofs. The ensemble, formed in the 10s of the 21st century, has managed to stand out well in recent years by creating varied and fascinating programs, always of excellent artistic quality and with a historical and dramaturgical sense having in their repertoire mainly the music of the Baroque period.
