Born: 10 February 1932 in Milan, Italy.
Died: 14 January 1998 in Ospedaletti (IM), Italy.

Talented pianist, composer and conductor, he graduated in conducting from "Conservatorio 'Giuseppe Verdi'" in Milan.

In the '50s - after successfully performing in several Parisian piano bars - he started his collaboration (as a composer and arranger) with many famous Italian artists, Mina (3) above all.

During the '60s and the '70s, thanks to his participations in various hit TV shows, De Vita's nice and cheering figure became increasingly popular with a larger audience.

Throughout his career, he wrote or co-wrote more than 500 songs, including Heather Parisi's disco smash hit "Disco Bambina", and Loretta Goggi's "L'Aria Del Sabato Sera", respectively the opening and closing themes of TV show "Fantastico" (1979).
