Berit Hallqvist
Berit Margareta Hallqvist , born February 10, 1938 in Stockholm , is a Swedish soprano singer .
On one release in 1966, she was credited as Berit Hallqvist-Sundström, but on all subsequent releases, she used Hallqvist only as last name.
Berit Hallqvist studied at the Stockholm Academy of Music 1957-63 for Folke Sällström , Ragnar Hultén and Carl-Eric Dramstad . After graduation, she also studied song interpretation for Gerald Moore, Erik Werba and Paul Lohmann . She gave her first solo concert in 1966 in Stockholm.
She was a singing teacher at the Stockholm School of Education , from 1965 at the Stockholm Academy of Music and from 1969 at the Copenhagen Academy of Music .
