Real name: Mathieu Langevin

Canadian singer-songwriter Matt Lang (real name Mathieu Langevin) began his career as a Francophone participant on Quebec reality show "La Voix" (North America's French language counterpart to "The Voice"). He subsequently released (a now-obscure and out-of-print) French pop-folk-C&W album before deciding to pursue his passion for "new country" music in English Canada and the USA.

Originally from Maniwaki Quebec, he recorded and self-released his independent debut album "Mathieu Langevin - Sauve-Toi Pas" soon after his appearance on the 2015 edition of La Voix. But by 2018, the then 28-year-old artist with a warm and powerful voice (and a ton of charisma) changed course. He would henceforth be known under the alias stage name "Matt Lang".
In September of the same year he released his eponymous EP, diving head-on into the North-American “new country” scene. His career (as Matt Lang) has since seen a dazzling ascension....winning several prizes and competitions as well as earning solid reviews and immediate country-music chart success (garnering several country-music nominations along the way).
