DJ Phat Fingerz

Born July 4th, he's a Producer, Writer, and Arranger. Owner of a full Digital Recording Studio, were he does all of his work, he has recently finished a couple of albums which are in stores now. And in case some of you are wondering where the name FINGERZ came from, here goes. "I was once laying down a complicated keyboard sequence for a friend" he saids, "and he took a look at my hands and yelled, "You Go, Fingers!" And the rest, as they say, is history". Fingerz' first opportunity to perform professionally came in the movie, EASTSIDE STORY. His group, Boyz In The Lab had a featured track titled "Fragile Heart". While on the set, Fingerz was reunited with friends well known in the music industry such as: Little' Louie Vega, Marc Anthony , and India, just to name afew.
In 1990, Fingerz did release a single on his friends label, Brewster Records titled "Nightmares of Tomorrow" which became Free Style Classic of the Month in Pennsilvania the following year. His old partner, and friend, enjoyed the performing side of the business so, that he became one of the lead singers of the internationally known group, The Barrio Boyzz. Fingerz loved the creative side and continued his writing and producing throughout the years.
In 1995, Fingerz had a couple of projects credited to his name. One was as writer of "Don't Turn Our Love Away" by Lorenzo D'Lan. And another as Additional Editor of Clear touch's latest album on Mic Mac Records. Recently, Brewster records released a compilation CD which features "Nightmares of Tomorrow" which was written, produced, and recorded by Mr. Felix (PHAT FINGERZ) Colon. Fingerz is currently working on a couple of REGGAE/HIP HOP projects and a REGGAE CD that will be released on his own label, Finger Cell Music. "Reggaeton Platinum", is In Stores Now!
