American jazz saxophonist (alto, tenor, baritone and C melody saxophone) player.Born : October 18, 1904 in Lawrence, Kansas.
Died : August 28, 1928 in Douglas, Kansas. (Tuberculosis)
"Stump" played with : King Oliver ("King Oliver's Original Creole Orchestra"), Jelly Roll Morton, Kid Ory and Erskine Tate.
