C.C. Møller

Real name: Carl Christian Møller

Carl Christian Møller (1823-1893) was a Danish musician, conductor and composer. Generally known as C.C. Møller in both his own age and later.
C.C. Møller began as a member of H.C. Lumbye's orchestra in Tivoli, Copenhagen. Later he became the musical director of the large theatre in Copenhagen, Folketeatret, and in the summers conductor of Tivoli's wind orchestra. He wrote music to comedy, and approx 300 marches and waltzes, but he is best known for "Aarhus-Tattoo/Århus Tappenstreg" (which is actually not his own composition but most likely an arrangement of two old melodies) and "Battaille-March".
