Head Of The Baptist is a Black Infested Death Crust band from the North East of Belgium, formed in 2017. With (ex)members of Predatoria, Sons Of A Wanted Man and Slowly We Rot.

Their name may conjure images of torch-bearing, satanic Black Metal worshippers atop snow-covered peaks. However, this band is an enigmatic fusion of heavy genres. Weaving together crushing Black and Death metal influences, while embracing the fistful rage of D-Beat/Crust and the chaos of Grindcore.

Next to their previous demo release in 2018, the fresh EP "The Pyre Of Equivalence" was released digitally in 2023 and has recently appeared on 12" vinyl and CD, made possible by Loner Cult, Lycanthropic Chants and Cursed Monk Records.
