Eduardo Benavente
Real name: Eduardo Benavente Pérez
Spanish drummer, guitar player, singer and composer. Born October, 30th, 1962, died May 14th, 1983. He started his musical career very young in 1980 as drummer in "Alaska y los Pegamoides". In 1981 he founded a parallel band with Ignacio Canut, "Parálisis Permanente", a gothic band pioneer in Spain. He left "Alaska" and remained as leader (vocals and guitar) of the new band with his girlfriend Ana Curra, until his death in a car crash in 1983.
