Weirdo were formed after Elmer left ledgendary acoustic happy hardcore crew 'The Whistling Corps.' He met Edna and Edward when the three of them fell into an arguament about biscuit baking at a Terry Pratchett fan convention. Edward was at the time riding high on the wave which had seen his band 'Little Leeeeg' reach number 1 in Eastern Europe, and Edna was writing experimental poetry which scanned and rhymed in English, French, German and Magyar even if read backwards.
