Sid Jacobson

Real name: Sidney Jacobson

American comic book writer and editor.
He was managing editor and editor in chief for Harvey Comics, Inc. (Casper the Friendly Ghost, Richie Rich, Hot Stuff the Little Devil and Wendy the Good Little Witch).
In the 1950s and 1960s, while working at Harvey Comics, Jacobson wrote songs for such pop acts as Frankie Avalon (A Boy Without a Girl), Earl Grant ((At) The End (of a Rainbow)), Dion and the Belmonts, and Johnny Mathis, despite the fact that Jacobson did not read music.
