Real name: Hans Hyldbakk

Hans Hyldbakk was a Norwegian poet and author.
Most known for writing "Vårsøg", a poem about the forthcoming spring, a symbol of Norway's liberation from Nazi Germany in 1945.
Along with other poems, such as: "E slåttatæja", "Nordmørsminne" and "Sola e komma", they were popularized with music by Henning Sommerro.
He also wrote many books about local history and the people within it.
Born May 8, 1898 in Surnadal, Norway. Died August 18, 2001.
