We are The Rupees an Electronic Rock n Roll band from Bristol and our sound is a thrilling outburst of upbeat, driving energy. Our unique style is defined by a wall of snarling yet soulful vocals, atmosphere defining synthesizers, thunderous disco rhythms and thick, fuzzy guitars. Lyrically about escaping the humdrum of daily life and revelling in liberty our songs are an uplifting celebration of what it is to feel alive. We also like purple.
