Marie Ueda (jap.: 植田 真梨恵) is a female Japanese singer-songwriter. She was born on September 22nd, 1990 in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.
Marie released her first record under Tent House in 2008 at the age of 17. Almost all the songs she records and performs are composed and written by herself. Marie plays acoustic and/or electric guitar when performing live. She plays the piano as well, but mainly uses it for composing.
