Norwegian conductor (1929-1997).Was awarded the Arnold Bax Memorial Medal in 1958, as the "Best conductor of 20th century music".
Between 1957-73, he was the principal conductor and artistic director of Århus Byorkester and the principal conductor of the Jutland Opera.
