American composer and classical pianist.Born February 17, 1926 in Madison, Wisconsin Died March 28, 2011in New York City, New York.
He studied piano with Egon Petri and compoosition with Gian-Carlo Menotti.
He wrote two ballet scores for the Harkness Ballet Company. He composed incidental music for twelve theatrical productions, works for voice, piano, chorus, orchestra, chamber groups, three opera and a piano concerto.
