US jazz tenor saxophonist and clarinetist, nickname "Pazuza", born 1908, died 1960 in New York.
Played with Willie Bryant (1938), Ollie Shepard (1939-1940), Louis Jordan (1940-1941), Benny Carter (1940), Shad Collins , Lucky Millinder (1941-1942) and others. During 1940s-1950s led own small band, died on bandstand at the Savannah Club, Greenwich Village.
