Real name: Martin Kristofer Steen

Swedish musician, filmmaker and opera director, born June 26, 1974 in Holmsund, Västerbotten.

He was the guitarist in the hardcore band Refused in the years 1994-1998 and 2012. He has also been a member of the bands Abhinanda, Final Exit and TEXT.

After training as a filmmaker in Los Angeles, Steen directed the 2006 documentary film Refused Are Fucking Dead about his own band.

Steen later trained as an opera director at the Academy of Opera in Stockholm.

After Refused's temporary reunion tour in 2012, Steen began working as director of a new production of La Bohème at Norrlandsoperan in Umeå, premiering on February 28, 2013.
