Real name: Johan Löfcrantz Ramsay

Swedish drummer, born March 20, 1969 in Södertälje.

He was born and raised in Södertälje and started playing drums at the age of five. He studied for Olle Lansell at Södra Latins gymnasium in Stockholm 1985–1988, then for Pétur "Island" Östlund at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm 1988–1993.

Löfcrantz Ramsay has collaborated with Toots Thielemans, Clark Terry, Steve Swallow, Maria Schneider, Kenny Werner, Daryl Coley, Monica Zetterlund, Arne Domnérus, Putte Wickman, Svante Thuresson, Rigmor Gustafsson, Lisa Ekdahl, Peter Asplund, Viktoria Tolstoy, Björn Skifs, Kalle Moraeus, Mikael Rickfors, CajsaStina Åkerström, Carola, Sven-Bertil Taube and more.
