Elegantly oscillating between groovy retro melodies and contemporary soundscapes, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Augustine makes bombastic indie pop built on his soulful falsetto, timeless sound and fragile love stories. Augustine debuted with ‘Luzon’ in 2019 and his debut EP ‘Wishful Thinking’ saw him crowned Pop Artist of the Year at the 2020 Swedish Independent Music Awards.

Growing up in Gothenburg with the poetry-laden music of Bob Dylan and The National, Augustine started writing lyrics and poems at age 9, even before he got into music. Lyrics have remained an important element in his songs and he has been praised for his skill in delivering thoughtful, honest and melancholic stories straight from his own youth, combined with powerful songwriting and liberating productions.
