Echion is an artist based in Austria's capital Vienna. Early on music's been his calling and growing up with Thrash Metal, Hardcore and EBM, it is no surprise he started screaming in a Metalcore band. Soon after he discovered his passion for electronic music, especially Techno. Until he decided to leave his band behind for good and to become a DJ. After digging through all the different facets of Techno and other electronic subgenres, still heavily influenced by his roots, he crafted his signature sound: highly energetic and pounding rhythms cast in raw and aggressive soundscapes. Since then he's been making quite a name for himself and has already played in the country's best clubs and venues, sharing the decks with some of the best international artists, such as Marcel Dettmann, Answer Code Request, Cleric, Kobosil, Anetha, Hector Oaks and many more.

In 2018 he promoted his own event series "Kredo" at Vienna's most infamous Antifa Punk venue, Venster 99. Offering a platform for young and aspiring local artists, but also international artists such as SARIN.

Since 2019 Echion is a resident DJ at Dead Sea Diaries, promoting events at Grelle Forelle and Das Werk, two of the best clubs Vienna has to offer. With the other residents Matt Mor, Cris and Scendet he's shaping Vienna's Techno scene and focusing on other future projects.
