Jimmy Ford

US rockabilly singer, songwriter born in Alabama. Sang for Stylo in both the spring and summer of 1959, moved to Arkansas after his military service and played rockabilly with bass player, J.T. Rhodes. They opened shows for Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis. Ford later earned a PhD from Ohio State University and became the chairman of the Dept. of Foreign Languages at the University of Arkansas. His songs were published by J & W Music.
