Sweep is a band that is part of what some synthpop fans like to call "the Norwegian synthpop invasion". The band members are friends with other modern synthpop heros like Apoptygma Berzerk, Echo Image, and Icon of Coil (all from Norway). Sweep focuses on the song-writing and catchy melodies that remind fans of synthpop pioneers like Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, or Hubert Kah, while adding a modern touch and their own stylistic flare.
