Real name: Robert Earl Berryhill

Guitarist and founding member of the 60s surf-band The Surfaris - Born in 1947, he is perhaps most notable for co-writing their hit song "Wipe Out".

In the 1990's Bob formed a new faction of the The Surfaris with his wife Gene, a concert violinist, playing bass guitar, their younger son Joel as the drummer and their eldest son Deven also on guitar. They are still currently performing and have released two new albums with this line up called "Wipe Out" and "The Surfaris Hurley Sessions".
