Danish vocalist, b. 1969 in Copenhagen. Primarily known as the lead vocalist of Magtens Korridorer, but simoultaniously involved in various side-projects, one of them doing a ph.d in proteincrystallography and working as a scientist at University of Copenhagen. Among the sideprojects is the band "Crash Replay" including Magtens Korridorer bandmate Niklas Schneidermann and the group "Gangerpilt". Olsen's fondness of the schlager and busker tradition is heard in the duo Pligten Kalder, with Torben Steno, that does modern schlagers about death, love and resignation. Olsen's voice bears an obvious resemblance to that of Kim Larsen and Olsen occasionally has performed with a band covering the songs of Larsen and Gasolin'.
As guest vocalist, Olsen has appeared with Volbeat , with Revoltage and Red Warszawa.
Olsen also has appeared as radio- and TV-host.
