The Vogue label simply made up the pseudonym "Pierre Destublat" to release recordings by Altero Betti et son orchestre, finding that the Italian-sounding name "Altero Betti" didn't sound Auvergne enough. Altero Betti was unaware of this and consequently left Vogue.
