Ron Dykhof
Real name: Ronald Van Dykhof
Canadian musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, manager and record company executive from Montréal, Québec active 1960s to 1970s. Member of Les Sceptres from 1963 to 1966. Director of A&R for The Compo Company Ltd. late 1960s to early 1970s and continued in A&R with MCA Records (Canada) when it took over Compo. Left to found his own label Montor Records, a reference to the fact that he was based out of both MONtréal and TORonto. Produced various singles and albums throughout the '70s before setting off across the world as a pianist on cruise ships and in hotels.
