Real name: Tim Maloney

Tim Maloney is an American animator, film-maker, lecturer, and sound collage musician. He is known for his animation work on a variety of TV shows and films, as well as for his connections with the band Negativland, the latter of which he produced a music video ("Gimme the Mermaid") for. Maloney also curated and released The Droplift Project CD, a compilation of experimental/plunderphonics music which was "droplifted" - that is to say, "reverse shoplifted" - into physical music stores.
