Ars Pro Vita is a Art-progressive-symphonic-rock band founded by two brothers in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 2015.
The two has been exposed to many styles of music. The ideas behind their music reflect their views on life, human nature at its idiosyncrasies. Luis FERNANDO VENEGAS began to write poems on humanitarian themes which turns to lyrics. Paulo Jose, his brother, joined him by composing themes with his guitar.

The band uses complex chord progressions using common and odd rhythmic patterns and unusual harmonies. The band also uses musical instruments from various countries adding some world music sound to their symphonic style.
