In the 80s noted Dutch church organ player Klaas Jan Mulder set up the project KAJEM, initially a collaboration with Ton Scherpenzeel, and toured throughout the Netherlands. Well known classical pieces were arranged using modern instruments including drums, bass and synthesizer creating a cross-over sound that proved quite popular. In total 6 albums were released under the KAJEM banner.
