World-fusion band based in Linz, Austria. The name Çarx originates from Azerbaijani and means wheel/gear. The Turkish term Çark also means "circle of life" in the mystic and spiritual Sufi philosophy. With roots in Austria, Turkey and the Balkans, Çarx blend middle-eastern and Mediterranean elements with a powerful and emotional expression to create their unique sound.
