Phoebe Sinclair Free Music

Phoebe Sinclair

Emerging from Brisbane via the Gold Coast, Phoebe Sinclair is the latest voice breaking through the Australian pop landscape.

The self-confessed emotional wreck, turned sad-banger songstress, is making an impact with her combination of soulful vocals, intoxicating beats and scintillating lyricism. Backed by a 4-piece all girl ensemble, oozing confidence and power, and armed with a massive pop vocal, Sinclair smashes out electro pop tunes with an inescapable energy.

Influenced by kick-ass women in music, Sinclair co-founded the song writing duo Middleman alongside Lara Frew, and has written with artists in the US, Canada, Sweden, France, Lebanon, New Zealand, Germany, Netherlands, Peru, UK and at home in Australia. Having spent the past couple years writing for other artists, Sinclair’s own music bites with a new found understanding of herself, what she stands for, and how her experiences can connect to listeners.

In its very first week her 2019 single ‘Unfair’ garnered spins on Triple J Unearthed and airplay on Triple J’s ‘Home and Hosed’. Her follow up ‘OMG’ saw coverage from theMusic.com, Broader Lines, Tone Deaf, Pilerats & Cool Accidents and was remixed by electronica icon Alice Ivy.

Selling out her 2020 OMG release show at Brisbane’s Milk Factory, Sinclair’s performances are an experience not to be missed. A performer at BIGSOUND 2018’s Gold Coast showcase, a support slot for Melbourne’s dreamy sad-pop artist Elizabeth, a sold-out 2020 show with Sofar Sounds, and at a string of sets at high calibre festivals including Surfers Paradise Live, Brisbane Festival & *Bleach Festival, Sinclair has all the markers to be Australia’s next big breakout artist.

Addictive and captivating, her song-writing is deceivingly good and her live performances transcendent, leaving hearts in throats and melodies in minds.

Sinclair’s highly anticipated single ‘Whiplash’ was released 20 November 2020.
