Real name: 슈가

Sugar was a South Korean, K-pop girl band from the early to mid 2000s. They had more success in the Japanese market than in the Korean market by releasing many singles in Japan. The group consisted of Ayumi Lee, Lee Ha Rin, Hye Seung, Hwang Jung-eum, and Park Soo-jin. On December 20, 2006, Sugar had disbanded due to the expiration of their contract with SM Entertainment. Sugar was nominated for two SBS Music Awards in 2002 and 2004, and was nominated for Mnet Asian Music Awards (2004).
