Montenegro Tango was a Piedmontese postpunk wave band active between 1984 and 1990. All that remains is a few tracks on demos now lost in time and a song on an Italian wave compilation, "Let's Rock", dating back to 1989. In 2016 have reformed with the MT monicker, turning their towards a rather noisy electronic minimal wave. Their home is Asbestos Digit, an experimental label based in Rome.
